Dating Dos and Don’ts: Love In Your 60’s Part 2
As the old saying goes; it takes two to tango. A relationship doesn’t work if there is only one person trying to lead the show. A relationship has to be a give and take and each person needs to be on equal ground. Sure, some people are better at different things; but that’s when they can take the lead in the relationship. When they have the opportunity to utilize their strengths then that will work well in the relationship.
Relationships are like a Cha-Cha and you need to take turns being the leader.
The person with the most power in a relationship is the one who cares the least. In a good marriage, that power is rotated. It comes in the form of compromising.
No one is right all the time. No one is wrong all the time. It takes two to fight but just one to make a bad situation good again.
